Suzan Harisson’s Story

Meet Suzan Harrison, a dedicated poultry farmer who trusted GEMCO in purchasing and combining structures to meet all of her needs. Mrs. Harrison wanted a total of four structures. The first to cover her vehicles. The second to hold chicken feed and cages. The third for basic storage and the fourth to house all of her plants.

GEMCO was able to design a custom horse barn, so now she has one structure to fulfill all of her needs as well as a custom-built greenhouse for year-round vegetable production.

“My greenhouse is currently being used to house a few vegetables and will be using it as a winter garden for my other plants this winter.

I grew up on a farm and decided two decades ago that I wanted to start my own trial run with only 8 hens, as of now I currently have 200 along with chickens, ducks, turkeys, guineas and geese!

Our horse Barn is used for feed, storage, and all things I need for my chicken babies. It is also serving as a carport to cover my husband’s truck , and the other side is used as a general storage.
